I was skeptical about mixing shapes, but the pins really do reach into tight chain links that spheres alone can't polish. After a few hours in the tumbler, my pieces came out with an even, mirror-like shine.

The mix includes those diagonal pins and they really get into chain links that spheres just roll over—my finished pieces came out with a uniform shine, no stubborn dull spots left. One kilo is plenty for a small batch, too.

I’ve been using this mix for a couple of weeks now, and the combination of spheres and pins really saves time—my chain links come out bright without me having to hand-polish each one. The pins definitely earn their keep on the tighter spots, and the 1 kg bag is plenty for my small batches.
