I've been hammering copper bezel wire flat and this mallet finally lets me shape it without dinging the surface. The wooden handle absorbs enough of the strike that my wrist doesn't ache after an hour at the bench. Two inch face is a good size for small work too.

The nylon faces leave zero marks on soft sheet metal, which is exactly what I needed for shaping bezels. The wooden handle feels solid in hand and the 2 inch head covers a good amount of surface per tap.
