I've been shaping copper bangles for a few months and the flatter curve these make is so much nicer than the round ones I was getting before. Solid wood too, so it doesn't slide around while I'm working the wire. The 14 inch length gives me plenty of room to slide pieces up and down.

The low oval profile is exactly what I needed for stacking bangles that don't clank around on my wrist. Solid wood has a nice weight and the 14 inch length gives me room to work a full set without repositioning. Hammered three copper bangles on it last night and the curve came out even every time.

Finally got my bangles to sit snug against the wrist instead of sticking out – the consistent low-oval shape along the whole 14 inches made the difference. Even the thinner sections kept their curve perfectly, so shaping was a breeze.
