The V-slot makes it so much easier to hold a piece steady right up to the cut line, and the hardwood takes the nicks instead of my saw blades. Swapped it onto my bench-anvil bracket in a minute and it's been solid since.

I've been using this pin daily for about a month and the hardwood has barely any marks where my saw blade rides. The V-slot lets me get right up to my cut line on delicate bezel work, which is exactly what my old pin wouldn't do. For the price, I'll probably grab a spare just to have on hand.

The V-slot holds my saw blade steady right at the cut line, which makes piercing small bezels way less fiddly. Hardwood grain feels dense and it's barely dented after a month of daily filing.
