I’ve been using this oval mandrel for a few weeks now and the machined steps are dead-on accurate—every bangle I’ve made on the same step comes out identical. The cast iron feels solid and doesn’t flex at all when I’m hammering.

The step sizes are dead-on and repeatable, so I can finally knock out a full batch of matching oval bangles without fiddling with a tapered mandrel. The cast iron feels solid and the 10" length gives plenty of grip for hammering. My second batch came out just as consistent as the first.
