The hemispherical cavities are machined so cleanly that my copper discs come out perfectly symmetrical on the first try, no re-hammering needed. I've used it for a dozen earring domes and the 2-inch size handles everything I throw at it with real precision.

Took a while to get used to the weight, but once I did, the 2-inch cavities make forming consistent curves so much easier. I’ve already shaped several silver discs for pendants, and the steel holds up without any marks. Exactly what I needed for my bench.

The cavities are perfectly smooth and polished, so my silver discs come out without any scratches or sticking. It transformed a lumpy practice piece into a neat dome in just a few taps.
