A lit torch has to go somewhere while both hands hold the work, and the bench top is the wrong answer. This holder clamps to the table or bench edge and hangs a lit Little Torch or mini Hoke-style torch on its steel hook between joins, flame pointed safely away from you, the work and the bench.
