A sinuous outline that would test anyone's saw control, punched instead in one strike: four snake blanks at 38.5 mm, 33.04 mm, 27.54 mm and 22 mm long, the largest 14.24 mm across. Use them for serpent-themed collections, earring pairs, pendants and inlay work where the curves must repeat exactly.

The 76 mm square die block and its four punches are hardened high-carbon tool steel. Anneal your sheet first, keep it non-ferrous and no thicker than 18 gauge (1.02 mm), and drive the punch with a brass or nylon mallet. A little cutting lubricant each time keeps those long, curved edges biting cleanly.
