Anticlastic Forming Pliers — Small 1/4" Cylinder Channel for Ring & Bracelet Making

Anticlastic forms — the saddle curves behind contemporary rings, cuffs and earrings — need the metal supported on both faces as it bends, or the strip twists and puckers. These pliers build that support in: a ¼-inch cylinder channel above, a small domed anvil below, so narrow stock takes a clean opposing curve squeeze by squeeze.

The working faces are polished steel, with brass inserts in the channel and at the anvil base to give silver and copper every chance of coming through unmarked. A box joint keeps the jaws tracking true under pressure, and the cushioned blue vinyl grips stay comfortable across a long forming session. Keep the brass faces wiped clean so trapped grit cannot print into your work.
