This former carries a continuous rounded-square profile along a 14-inch taper, so contemporary bangles formed from square or rectangular stock keep their geometry without distorted corners. It suits copper, brass and other non-ferrous stock as readily as precious metal.

Solid wood is deliberate: it will not mark or scratch the metal being worked over it, and the surface is sanded smooth so bangles slide on and off without snagging. The taper covers a range of bangle sizes along its length. Like any wooden former, keep it clean and dry and it will hold its profile.
