Swedging for Woodwind Repair & Jewellery — Parallel Spring Action Pliers, 4-Hole Jaws

A specialist forming tool for swedging tubing and shaping wire and small metal components — best known at the woodwind repair bench, where keywork demands even, controlled pressure. Four semi-circular cutouts across the jaws let you work a part down progressively rather than in a single crush, keeping the result round and true.

The parallel action is the working heart of the tool: a compound lever keeps the jaws aligned at any opening, so pressure lands squarely across all four forming positions. An external coil spring returns the handles between squeezes for repetitive work, the polished steel handles carry a dimpled texture for grip, and the all-metal build runs on riveted and screwed pivots.
