Two workhorse profiles for pared-back designs: a 16 × 62 mm bar and a 12.5 × 62 mm paddle, each punched from sheet in one strike. Long shapes like these wander when cut by hand; the die keeps them true, so drop earrings, bar pendants and repeated components stay uniform across a run.
The heavy steel block and both punches are hardened, tempered high-carbon tool steel, the punches bevelled for striking with a brass or nylon mallet. Suitable for silver, gold, copper and brass to 18 gauge (1.02 mm); work on a solid surface with a cutting lubricant to protect the shearing edges.
- Cuts clean bar and paddle shapes from non-ferrous sheet metal up to 18 gauge (1.02mm).
- Die block and punches are machined from hardened and tempered high-carbon tool steel.
- Includes two punches: a 16 x 62 mm bar and a 12.5 x 62 mm paddle shape.
