A rubber mould is only as good as the heat that cured it. This solid aluminium frame carries the vulcanizer's heat evenly through the rubber packed inside, so the mould cures consistently front to back — the difference between wax injections that fill cleanly and ones that carry flaws into every casting. The single central cavity has radiused corners, which makes lifting the finished mould out far less of a fight.
