I've been using these stainless wire brushes to clean up rings after soldering and they cut through firescale way faster than the brass ones I had. The satin finish they leave is actually really consistent.

Needed something stiffer than the brass brushes to clean up some stubborn firescale on a silver ring — the stainless wire handled it beautifully and left a nice, even satin finish without scratching too deep. Only used it for a few pieces so far, but the single row is precise enough for detail work.

The single row of stainless wire is stiff enough to knock down burrs without scratching the metal underneath, which is exactly what I needed. Left my pieces with a smooth, even satin finish after a few quick passes.
